ACHIVEMENTS

Robocon:
NIST, the only private Engineering College from eastern India which participated in the 8th ROBOCON 2010, the national level Robotics Competition organized by Doordarshan, India in collaboration with MIT, Pune during 4th – 6th March 2010. Contending with 45 top engineering institutes of the country which includes IITs and NITs, NIST was awarded with the National Award for Best Idea in Designing the Robots and was felicitated.

In 2010, the club received the most prestigious National Award for Best Idea a designing Robots in ROBOCON-2010.

In 2009, the club was positioned 4th in India at ROBOCON-2009.

1st Prize in Robotics at ITER (this was achieved by a group of 2nd year NRCians).

1st & 2nd prize in Robotics event at OEC, Bhubaneswar.
